East Hampton McDonald's owners issued proclamation from governor

A story about the East Hampton McDonald’s being honored by town officials, “East Hampton officials mark Haskos family’s years of community support,” on Page A3 of the Aug. 25 Middletown Press, contained some significant misinformation.
The story incorrectly said State Rep. Melissa Ziobron presented a proclamation on behalf of the General Assembly to the restaurant’s owners.
Mimi Perrotti, a member of the town’s Economic Development Commission, was on hand to present a proclamation signed by Gov. Dannel Malloy honoring Nicholas and Liz Haskos, the owners, for their commitment to the town.
