Corrections to Relay for Life story

Gladys Hartzell's team in the annual Relay for Life at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Middletown was named Poppi's Team. It was erroneously reported as Team Poppi's. Also, team member Robyn Butler's father is a cancer survivor.

The theme of this year's Relay for Life was "Celebrations." Last year's theme was "Fighting Back to Toon Out Cancer."
Mercy High School graduate Maria Malafronte's last name was misspelled.
The organizations goal was to raise $90,500 at this year's event.
The quote starting with "A lot of youth are involved" was said by Amy Hughes, not Patti Nettis Deegan.
The survivor tent is set up every year and does not serve the torch ceremony. The luminaria tent serves the torch ceremony.
Teams did not buy their own butterflies - they were sponsored as a team fundraiser by the team Divas for Dona.
